Where:
Texas Grove and Ballfield in South Park (the field is
located directly across the street from the grove, so if you
are bringing little ones, you are responsible for their
safety while crossing the street)
Time:
9 am until ??? First game starts at 10 am
Cost: $20 per player (includes
donation to the Samuel J. Foundation).
Teams must have a minimum of 12
players (4 must be ladies) and a maximum of 15 players.
Individual players can choose their team in compliance
with above roster guidelines.
All teams are guaranteed to play at least 2
games during the day. There will be a playoff to crown a
champion. Winning team will receive a team trophy,
individual trophies and a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
2nd and 3rd place teams will receive recognition for
participation.
This is also a picnic for all to enjoy.
If you don’t want to play kickball, come root your favorite
player on throughout the day.
Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, pretzels and non-alcoholic
drinks will be available for anyone who makes at least a $15
donation to benefit the Samuel J. Foundation for Pediatric
Brain Cancer.
Side dishes are welcomed!
The liquor license has been purchased, so
feel free to BYOB! (The Samuel J.
Foundation is not responsible for any player or spectator
that consumes alcohol during the day. Please be responsible
and make sure you have a way home if you choose to have a
few adult beverages. Remember that there are children at
this event, so please be considerate.)
We will
be selling 50/50 raffle tickets from 10:00am-until the end
of the championship game. 50/50 benefits the Samuel J.
Foundation.
Tickets are $1
each.
Winner need not to be
present!

Who We Are
The Samuel J Foundation is a non-profit organization established in memory
of Samuel Jacob Johnson. The Foundation is dedicated to honoring Sam's
bright spirit and brave heart by giving children with brain tumors hope for
a cure, bringing smiles into the lives of children with all types of
pediatric cancers and their families, and by supporting the needs of
children with developmental disabilities.
